The Speech
Everyone has a fear,
probably more than one.
And one of my greatest fears,
was speaking in front of crowds.
All of those judging eyes,
staring back into yours.
The day came,
as I always knew it would,
I had to give a speech for the class.
Shaking hands and a trembling voice.
Despite all of the suspense,
I made it through.
A better person it did make me,
for I learned,
It’s not so bad.
