What no one
truly knows,
is how much
I truly hurt.
They want to
know the truth,
my deep and
dark secrets.
Why tell them
though,
is it just for
fun and games.
Every night
I cry so deep,
every night
I corrode the steel.
Make it stop
make it end,
greet me tonight
or early tomorrow.
Never and end
or a beginning,
for the corrosion
of sharp, steel hearts.
