I feel so lonely
Watching people gaze passionately into each other’s eyes
I want to be loved
My friends love and care for me
For that, I am grateful
But I want a sole companion
Who will always be there?
Who will always have me in their arms?
I admit, I am a romantic
I run blindly into a random relationship
Only to be spat out like moldy bread
I need to be patient
I need to understand that love will come
Someday, my love will reveal herself
Someday, I will be complete.
