I sit and watch the people
I have no voice
I imagine a world where I do
I’d stand tall and be heard
I’d make myself heard
I’d live without a care
Because I’d be purely myself
No one would hold me back
I wouldn’t hold myself back
I wouldn’t be the center of attention
But I wouldn’t be a shadow in the background
I would be part of the crowd
But the first step needs to be made
Coming out
Saying the first word
And it’ll all take off from there
It’ll get easier
And before I know it,
Everyone will know the true me
