Just one more hug

I remember our first day together,
I thought that it would last forever.
I guess I was wrong,
No one can be right,
All I wish is one more hug tonight.
Before you more along,
Just one more hug and I'm gone.
Once you say goodbye,
I will close my eyes and forever be gone.
I'm sorry I was not perfect
And I'm sorry it had to end this way.
So one more hug before I die
Before I go away.
