We're only Writing our Story.
Like the smile that comes across your face, your perfection glows like the candle lit room we once danced in. Alone, just us two, romancing like the day we first kissed. As our bodies intertwined with passion, the beat of our hearts matched like a pitch perfect drum, beating away the seconds of a day that would always remain engraved in what we once called soul mates. The night grows cold now that I'm alone, your touch is missing, but it's in the distance. And as the clouds grow gray, i lay in reminiscence to the sound of the pouring rain that comes across my face. One day, maybe far away, but I know the stars will hold you in my dreams, and forever may not mean you're gone for good. But your picture in my locket will always remind me of a day we once stood. Smiling, laughing, loving and kissing, in Seattle's pouring rain, to the heart beat of the love we made.
