It's the weekend that's been around the corner
It's the 2 days of not being able to hear from ya
2 days which are like 2 years with ever second that ticks
There's rain outside this morning with its tick tick pitter patter
Making me hallucinate about the passing of the time like a flash
There's a gap between you and me
But I connect to you like we are 4 seconds apart
4 steps on the beach 4 steps on the stairs 4 breaths away in the cold night
Every 4 steps that we are apart it feels like every 4 steps you're closer to me
