Changed
For the better, or the worst.
At first it may be hart to tell,
it scares you.
Looking in the mirror and seeing
someone completely new.
Talking and not recognizing your
own voice or words.
Habits change,
Values change,
All different.
The people you know and love
look at you differently
as if you are a stranger in
some way.
Some reject, others welcome.
Some hate, others love.
We all suffer change,
We all are rewarded by it.
It effects us all,
for we cannot escape its grasp.
We learn,
We accept,
We move on.
And in the end,
it all makes perfect sense,
and it makes us grow.
It shapes and forms us
into who we are,
who God planned us to be.
It opens us to things we
never knew
and blinds us of things that
don't matter.
After all,
Change is now
and now is everything.
