Nightmare

The darkness at night consumes me
As I fall asleep each night,
Falling into a dark hole of terror and fright,
I cant run,
I cant even escape,
Cant even hide from the monster lurking in sight,
I want to scream, but nothing comes out,
Its like I have no voice,
No soul,
No life at all,
I'm stuck in this place,
This terrible carnival ride,
I awake in the dark of my room,
Find it was just a bad dream,
I try to sleep once more,
A beautiful nightmares coming again,
At school im nothing but a zombie,
Wishing for a peaceful dream tonight...
