Are you proud of me?
Are you proud of me?
Mommy today is the day
The day I tell you all my fear
You know mommy, I’m always scared
Terrified by the idea that you are not proud of me
But mom why won’t you tell me anything?
You have such a delicate voice
So why don’t you talk to me?
Me, I can’t
What if you think I’m abnormal?
That what I think is stupid? Or impossible?
What if you laugh about me?
I know you wouldn’t but I can’t stop myself from imagining it
That’s how my life is
I can put the key in the lock
I can open the door and walk through the always
But then I have to stop because there’s a wall in front of me that won’t broke
I could fight it but I’m not strong enough
I want too but I can’t, I just give up
But I don’t want to just let go, mommy
So why won’t you help me?
Go the other side of the wall and push
Together will be invincible
Do it mommy and we will finally be mother and daugther
