"There is, in fact, an incredible freedom in having nothing left to lose" -Marya Hornbacher

The creases between her cheek and her smile,
say she hasn't let her past get to her in awhile.
They're evidence that she's strong,
like her sparkling coffee brown eyes that could do no wrong.
There's an intriguing kind of beauty in the the wrinkles of her forehead,
a simple kind of beauty that you adore, envy; even dread.
Those bags under her eyes,
can tell no lies.
Even her hair's a mess, shes under a lot of stress.
But the way she shows her teeth lets you know,
someone makes it all hurt a little less,
And he's right there by her side, for that he takes pride.
With a sly grin on his face,
you can tell no one could take his place.
You can see the guilt hidden in his eyes,
but his smile lets you know, now he tries.
because hes hurt her before,
but there's forgiveness here and they let it poor.
She's got some simple beauty,
and hes got some of his own.
With a look of love and anticipation,
she lets his imperfections be overthrown.
The closeness of their chests,
prove that they were meant for all these tests.
Young love is still love,
and theirs shines bright like the sun above.
