Two Birds
Two birds
 Perched on a wire
 So far
 Yet so close
 Both traveling
 Both Unraveling
 The journey for them both
 They chattered back and forth
 Became closer than they thought
 Both ruffled each others feathers
 But both loved a lot
 They knew to forgive
 They balanced each other out
One had never experienced love before
One learned to work it out
 Love took them far
 New life came
And with all the rush of the world
Both still looked at each other the same
 Love cannot be defined
 Predicted
 Or Restricted
 It can only be beautiful
In every relationship it sits in
 How could this be wrong?
For love has carried us gently
 Like a sweet summer song
 Sure the winds have turned
But learning is one thing we have learned
 Two Birds
 On a wire
 So far
 Yet so close
