My Dream House
In my dream house, an Olympic-sized pool, an entire gym, a rink
A basketball court for drilling and shooting, a kitchen with more than a sink
Robots that make sandwiches and endless delights would be just a dream for me
A huge telescope on the roof of the house to do a lot more than just see
A snow-covered mountain in this giant estate for skiing and snowboarding fun
A baseball field with six pitchers mounds, I am not even close to done
Trampolines that are next to big pits that are filled to the top with random things
Like sponges and futons, salads and croutons, and thirteen sets of diamond rings
Ten bowling lanes with pins and machines all ready for people to play
Refreshments and snacks and a whole lot of treats to bowl and laugh all day
A recording studio, an array of guitars, a grand piano with seats
A thousand cool series of shiny headphones like Apple, Skullcandy, and Beats
A bathroom with a ten-foot-tub and endless bubbles too
A robotic mirror that brushes your teeth and cleans off all the goo
A bed room with a Cali-King bed and a ceiling of glass to distinguish the stars
A mini-fridge for midnight snacks and a slide down to the cars
All these things make me so glad but there’s one more little piece
What’re the luxuries and materialistic things without your uncle and his niece?
Your mom, your dad, even your dog! Your great aunt’s cousin’s sister
Your grandpop’s brother’s nephew’s son and that guy over there! Hey Mister!
Without your friends and family around there’s nobody left to share
A wonderful place to laugh and play and live and love and care
