Of thousands
Of shrinking pictures,
We stand up.
Both friend and foe.
United,
When we lie down
Dispersed;
Among a younger audience,
We face a war.
Everything is being disrupted.
Every day
Weather extremes:
Smokes rises,
Eight young people die.
Time to pay up.
Your say,
To rebuild smarter,
More close up;
Still write free.
Everlasting Inspiration,
For the power
To do more.
A gift
In a world
Where we can’t turn back,
‘cause it’s a cold, harsh
World out there
