Life Like a Tide
Winds blow across the lake
Pushing water into slow rolling waves
Lapping up the new found warmth
Pulling sand down unto its big body
Swallowing the dusty rock
Bodies lay upon the white grains
Crying tears into the already dead land
Barren tried intertwined with a sense of you
Yet so unaware of your lack of honesty
Dying and shriveling
Until the next watery roll
Sweeps it away
