Greetings From a rainy Day

Little droplets all around
Fall with dainty clapping sounds.
The clouds above draw near today
To usher springtime on this way.
Puddles gather everywhere
Waiting for a booted pair.
Water trickles down the street,
Splashing over little feet.
Drip-drop leaks through ceiling cracks,
Leaving soggy mildew tracks.
But wait until the sun comes 'round,
When earth is clean and joy abounds.
