Now Just a Memory

Under the stars, side by side,
Lost in the moment, beneath the big bright sky.
Time had stopped, the world began to fade.
Didn't know then it had been too late.
I trusted you, you trusted me.
Through all this time, it was the key.
The love we had just couldn't last.
Sometimes I'm sad it's in the past.
You live, you learn; that's how it goes,
we can't know what the future holds.
Once my world, now just a memory.
Have a nice life, don't forget to think of me.
