Well, let’s see
I’m supposed to write a poem
‘Cause the teacher said so
And, let’s see
I don’t know how
To write a poem
But, I guess
I’ll try
Because I’m a good student
And I do what I’m told
Most of the time
Now, hm, let’s see
Hm
Where to begin
How to start
What on this earth
Am I supposed to write about?
Let’s see
I have no idea
Not one blessed thought
No inspiration
No creativity
But,
I said I’ll write a poem
And,
Hm, let’s see
I kind of just did
