I wish I could let you let me fly

Drink up the forbidden sky

But these wings are borrowed they aren’t mine

The wax will melt

For a brief moment it would be like nothing I’ve ever felt

But nothings painless when falling from that height

flightless birds dont belong that close to the light

That’s why I wear these cement shoes

In case one day I’m tempted, with tattered wings…

To go fly with you
