You can wish apon a star, but only you can make the dream come true.

You dont need boys, boys need you.

Can you see
The scars you left me
In my heart
Deep inside, I still care
Don't forget how we laughed
How we stayed side-by-side
I remember how we were
The tears tell me
All of it was real
Please don't forget
We were sisters til the end
I still care
Please don't forget

It's a subject I can relate to, also.

I'm not going to lie. I'm personally kind of sick reading poems about scars, both metaphorically and literally. If it's a metaphor, it's a bit cliche, and if it's literal, then...I don't know...I'm sick of
"emo" poems. It could be more original. But other than that, I liked it. It flows really well, and I could tell the subject brought out a lot of emotion in you. I hope you and your friend are doing okay now, of course, but if you add some music to this, it might make a good song. I could hear it in my head, hahah. :)
