She Wants It To Stop.
Arguing going on everywhere.
It’s about to result in a fight.
Innocent eyes watching.
Wishing it would all just stop.
She wishes she could do something.
She wishes she could stop it.
Instead she sits there in a corner
Crying her little eyes out.
She sits there and watches
With fear in her eyes
Hoping that it all ends soon.
**
Hours go by
And the arguing continues.
She still sits in fear.
She hears sirens.
She gets up to see whats happening.
She looks out the window
Tears stream now more then ever.
She watches the cops
Handcuff her mom
And push her into the car.
She tries to go out there
To say goodbye.
But no one will let her.
They lead her back inside
And before she knows it.
The car pulls off and
That’s the last she sees of her mom
For a few long years,
