He walks into Madison Square Garden,
his greatest stage.
An actor hidden in his sister’s shadow,
since his youngest age.
Determined to prove his worth to the world,
by overcoming the Knicks,
his enemies of old.
“The Knicks vs. The Hicks” the screamed at him,
everyone knew his chances were slim.
Talking, elbowing, clawing his way to victory,
little did anyone know,
he was about to make history.
Down six with less than 20 seconds to go,
it’s winning time,
and Reggie Miller is ready to strike the final blow.
