He stands there gazing at the small thing in his arms,
So tiny and delicate there’s no way he’ll let her go
He stares into her crystal eyes and twists her tiny curls
Not knowing what to say to his beautiful little girl
She wraps his finger inside her tiny fist
Not realizing when he lets a couple tears slip
He wonders how something so tiny and fragile
Can make him feel like nothing else matters
