Favorite Quote:
Though not religious, Job 7:14-15 "Then you scare me with dreams and terrify me with visions, so that I would choose strangling and death rather than my bones."

She smokes roll ups,
She’s got nicotine stains;
She’s only fifteen
And she’s smoking fifty a day.
A high achiever, with no drive to succeed
And Mum was a single parent at nineteen-
What can you expect?
Society has no other prospect
Than her becoming a drudge,
Balancing drugs with a grudge
And an average paid job.

This poem is based on what I feel people expect of me, due to my mother being a very young single parent for many years. I managed to get myself into a good grammar school, and for a while got stuck in a rut with various issues, but have since got over that and this poem is about what I once was.
