Favorite Quote:
"Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me." -Psalms23:4

She cries her eyes out, days upon days.
Praying to god for a change.
Maybe this drink will ease the pain.
The pain from hurt, neglect and shame.
The pain from depression running through her veins.

She crawls out of bed.
Eyes blood shot red.
She looks through the medicine cabinet hoping to find her sleeping pills.
One, two, three, all of the rest follow.

They glide down her throat.
Taking her on a trip of a never ending slumber.
This is it, this is the end.

Her eyes closed, her body cold with no feeling left inside.
Down comes the teen that only lived but never reached her dream.

this is actually a piece that i hold close to me. During my senior year of high school i was going through a lot of things and almost committed. until my teacher told me to write down my feelings, this is how this poem came about.
