Wispy white clouds monopolizing the sky
Solely fogging up the minds’ eye
A kind of peace, a kind of sadness
A forgotten wish, I do possess

That wish and I,
Meant to occupy a shared cry
Evaporated, disintegrated, a wish
But surely not demolished, a wish

Is there hope of capture, to re-embody
A wish that just makes me doddy
Whence the swirling river of my brain
Provides me with a great sum of shame

Along that eccentric river, a crossing
Yields stocky nurtured flowers, now the spring
Dandelions set to seize control,
O, a mighty field full

How I wish upon a dandelion
Oh, now I’m shakin’ and cryin’
For this is my chance to spread,
A wish, which later I may dread

With a light warm breath, I send
Seeds leaping to ascend
No longer a perfect sphere
I’m now filled with the most unscrupulous fear

My unknown wish begins the ascent
Plumose hairs catching the wind, as I had meant
Each releasing my pursuit unto the air
Too late to retrieve, if I did dare

Muddy river filled with floating flowers
Wishes on which I spent my hours
From mouth to source,
Lest I ever abandon course
