Spring
A calming breeze,
Settles on to the tips of our noses.
Sending shivers down your spine
And a warm feeling throughout your body.
A calming sensation,
That sends you joy.
Hearing the birds sing,
For the first time in months.
The clouds overhead,
White and puffy.
White daisies,
Blooming in every field.
The perfect temperature,
Around every corner.
Butterflies flashing their wings,
And insects buzzing in your face.
The morning dew droplets,
Clinging to your shoes
With every step.
The grass gets greener,
And the sun gets higher.
The days that we dread,
Become longer and longer.
At night when we play,
It gets lighter and lighter.
For spring is coming.
The birds fly high,
Calling to their babies
Down below.
Spring is coming,
And everyone is cheering.
We stand outside,
Every morning,
Waiting for the sun to come.
Waiting for the clouds,
To clear
Waiting for spring to come.
