Love Poem #15674
I can feel the fear in every tear
I cannot hear what you are saying
Or rather I choose not to
I cannot feel where you're laying
or where you've gone to
I've got you, I lie I tell myself
I'll never leave you, you say after you've already left
Because the last train departed
Before even I even started the car to head to the station
And I know my heart is racing faster than my head can chase it
And you're further than ever before, before I had a chance to settle the score
Or ask you to stay
So I curl up where you used to lay
And pretend I know what you used to say
