I’m sick and I’m tired.
Sick of your excuses,
Tired of your lies,
Tired of this lifestyle,
But really,
I’m sick of being tired.

My patience is wearing thin,
And nerves are getting frayed.
One by one you pile on
More stories that you’ve made.
I’m sick of being tired.

I don’t care about your problems.
I’ve got plenty of my own.
It’d do you well to shut your mouth
All your stories are already known.
I’m sick of being tired.

Stop feeding us your nonsense
It’s getting really old.
How about you listen to us
Or we’ll leave you in the lonely cold.
I’m sick of being tired.

Dealing with you is tiring
It’s not even your actions or your words.
It’s the fact that I can’t speak up,
There’s no way I would be heard.
I’m sick of being tired.

Every little thing I hear
Annoys me to my inner core
Find someone else to listen to you,
I can’t do it anymore.
I’m sick of being tired.

The author's comments:
Sometimes, when I hear the same stories, lies, and comments over and over again, I get annoyed. Instead of snapping at whoever's speaking I thought it would be much more appropriate to take that annoyance and translate it into a poem.
