stereotype
Mormon
First thought-polygamy
NO
We don't do polygamy
BUT most married parents do have many children
NOT everyone who lives in Utah is Mormon
WE are everywhere in the world
Like Mitt Romney who is running for president
Does he live in Utah?
No
We do believe in the Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost
Believe in three separate people
Not three persons in one
We have a living prophet
We don't worship the prophet
We worship God
We
Do
Listen
To the
Prophet's
Message
Yes, being a member of the Latter-Day Saints is a challenge
But
It
Is
Worth it
We do believe in eternal marriage and eternal family after death
To have it, be married in the Temple
The Book of Mormon
It is another testament of Jesus Christ
We strive to spread the gospel
To every language, every tongue
We strive to help people
We strive to be righteous
We strive to be Christlike
Yes, we do have restrictions: money, clothes, food
But we don't think it is terrible
A reminder like a post-it note
We follow those rules
We remember God
We feel good by making good decisions
We make choices for ourselves
We are proud to be Mormon
