The Boy Next Door
The boy next door,
The one everybody loves.
Just so humble and shy,
But funny and goofy and sweet
At the same time.
The way he twirls those cards
Through his magic fingers,
The way the corners of his
Beautiful greenish-blue eyes krinkle at the edges
When he flashes you that
Adorable, heart-warming smile.
The way he blushes and smiles
When you cheer him on from the sidelines.
The way everybody loves him,
The way he's the best guy in school,
The way he removed his cute little tigger hat
To be crowned our homecoming king,
Just made me want him so much more.
That beautiful smile,
That tender heart,
That sensitive manner,
That heart of gold,
That inner and outer beauty,
Makes him the only one for me...
And he doesn't even know.
