Crisp and Clean
Rain, rain, don't go away,
Come again today,
The sun has had its time for nearly
Three seasons.
The time has come for heavy raindrops
To weigh down the leaves on trees
And puddles to form under our feet.
It's time for us to meet
The final season.
The crisp, clean air,
The grass becoming muddy when
Girls and boys stomp in it with their
Little Cartoon Rainboots.
Jumping in puddles because
There haven't been any all year.
Seeing that white, frosty layer on top of the world
When you wake up and look outside,
Makes the whole world brighter.
