The Forbidden Mansion
Just for a stupid party?
Just so their friends would think they were cool?
Why they chose to do the dare to go into an abandoned mansion,
They don’t know.
But they knew they’d made a HUGE mistake.
Creaking, squeaking, and groaning at the hinges,
They carefully opened the door.
They knew they weren’t suppose to be there
Now they knew that they weren’t wanted there either.
Horror filled their minds,
Stumbling upon the gruesome scene ahead of them.
Dead bodies in every room;
They were decomposing already,
Some looked like they’d just been killed.
The putrid scent of decomposing bodies invaded there nostrils.
There were faint puddles of blood that stained the floor.
Holes in their skin tell of a messy end.
Bodies were face down,
With their arms outstretched,
Bent at the elbows.

Rumor has it; the mansion once belonged to a killer
The basement is where all his weapons are-
All his weapons of mass destruction were placed
Fog filled the whole house as if they walked into a graveyard
Like one of those in the scary movies
A faint noise came from upstairs
The stairs creaked and they began to hear a lady singing
Her singing echoed throughout the hallway and through the house
Then finally-
It stopped.
Right in front of them appeared a ghost.
But she wasn’t like an ordinary ghost-
Her hair was matted and scraggly,
Her eyes were blood shot red,
Her body all banged up with traces of blood.
She screamed and shouted at the top of her lungs
GET OUT, GET OUT!!
The house started to shake,
They got chills down their spines,
They felt a rush of adrenaline.
More spirits from the bodies they had seen earlier appeared
Haunting the living that stumbled upon them
Terrified, they all ran for their lives.
The spirits chased after them filling the air with their laughter,
Driving them out of the house.
They knew they shouldn’t have gone into that house
It was a big mistake
But now they knew life as they knew it had changed
There were five of them,
Now there were four….
