The spring comes to life
The animals come out and the world wakes up from a seasonal slumber
The birds sing good morning songs
The trees bloom and show a vibrant green color
The days show signs of warming but the wind is still brisk
The world is now living
The spring is life
The summer rolls in with full blast
The heat is great
The lakes beaches and ponds filled with joyous laughter
The summer smells hot and humid
The occasional thunder storm rolls in
Summer is joy and happiness
As the summer leaves on the pink horizon, cool air swoops in
It is now fall
The animals scurry around to find food
The world gets sleepier and sleepier
The nights grow longer and colder
The fall is bedtime, for all things drift into a dreary state and shades of green turn to shades of brown
The world around falls to sleep
Covered in a bedtime blanket of snow
The animals go to bed
The first snow falls upon the world around like a dream
It piles and piles and piles, blanketing the world into a deeper slumber
The world is asleep.

This poem is relating the four seasons to the sleep cycle of a person. Summer being the awake part and winter being a time of sleep.
