The Old Man is Snoring
I wish I was snoring.
Me -- so tired, I might just sleep for days1.
My eyelid feels like it weighs
a thousand pounds.
The rain, like Tylenol PM
soothes me.
My eyelids – I wish I could open them!
So dark and hazy,
I feel oh so lazy.
The alarm clock once again produces a ring.
Me? Still snoring?
I wish!
