When are you Coming Home?
12:00
This is my curfew
I get in trouble if I don’t come home at this time
You’re the one that instilled this curfew
I get a curfew ticket if I’m out past this time
So I will return to the house at this time
Solely because I don’t want to get in any trouble
Never
You’re stupid questions annoy me
I will not be returning to the house tonight
Too many things to do
Too many people to see
Id rather be out with my friends
Than sitting on the couch at home
See you half past never
9:00
Mom, you always say
Nothing good happens at the park after dark
I don’t want to get into too much trouble
Better be safe than sorry
Plus, Wizard of Oz is on at 9
I wouldn’t want to be hanging out
Or having any type of fun
Than be sitting at home
On the couch
Watching TV
With my parents, on a Friday Night
I have no clue
Sorry mom
But I have bigger fish to fry than plan out my entire night
I am not quite sure yet what I will be doing
Every second that I am with my friends
I’m sorry you would love to have me home
To bake cookies and organize the basement
But I am 17
And I would like to spend some time with my friends
