Is it wrong for a guy to cry?
To let a few tears fall from his eye
People wait, just ready to pounce
Grinding his emotions into the ground
They mock and taunt his hurt and pain
Playing and laughing as if it’s a game
Not knowing what they are laughing at
A broken home, bruises that color his back
No wonder he hides his hurt
From the ones who tend to lurk
Placing a mask before his face
Saving himself from more disgrace
But who says a guy shouldn't cry
Until his tears have run dry?
So take a deep breath and let the mask go
Then close your eyes and let the tears flow
