Kiss me and you shall see the stars
“Kiss me and you shall see the stars. Love me and I shall give them to you.”
Your arms, they embrace me
Like the winds on the ocean
On a warm summer day
The winds kiss my face
Like the sunshine
Showing through the trees
I wish you were here
But you have gone far away
Why did you even leave?
I feel the sun,
But I see the rain.
I see your face
And I feel pain
Now I’m counting the stars
As you drift away
There was nothing I could do
To make you want to stay……
I regret ever wronging you
I want to make it right
I’m sorry for ever doubting
That all you said was true
Will you forgive me
For all the bad I’ve done?
I hope this war is over
And hope that nobody won
