I am drowning
In these shallow waters
And I am suffocating
In the tension of the air
I am wondering
Why did you even bother?
To try to make me believe
That you ever cared

I’m drifting away
With the ghosts of the past
Going back to a day
When we thought this would last
And back to a place
Where our voices sing
Where nobody worries
About what tomorrow brings
