Times may be dark
But the darkness will pass
The devastation will not always last
Tears of pain
Will become joy
As you cherish the life of your precious girl or boy

Love will always prosper and illuminate the night
Yes, the darkness will soon become light

Just keep your faith
And celebrate the love you shared
Think about their smile, their touch
And you'll realize they'll always be there

Maybe you can't run home and hold them in your arms
But you can hear their voice in every song
You see them run when the wind blows
You see the twinkle in their eyes when it snows
And when summer comes you will see their glow
And that's when you will know

Know that they are happy
And that they sleep in peace
They watch over you everyday
Sometimes they may want to come home and play

But they know they are needed high above
To shower you with gifts and lots of love

So when you hear their name
Do not feel pain
Smile and know that their life was not in vain

For they have brought so much to the world
They are most certainly precious little boys and girls
