tipsy
Every tip of the glass you make
Drives another blade
Another slice
Another week to spend in a hill.
If I could tell the truth
This could be the end of me
You are the enemy
An invisible foe
To sink this ship.
If I make it whole
Back to the mainland
From this island of hell
I will never speak a noise again.
Now that it’s over
I must admit
I could just forget all of these regrets.
I've made mistakes
But you never learn
From the ones you can’t remember.
In a haze you feed
A burning potion
A killing beverage
Punching holes in organs
And stabbing scars in flesh.
I can't ignore
All these lies that you have fed me
I will never be the same,
Never will I be whole again.
NEVER.
