Run Out of Road MAG
A volatile breath blows in from the West
It should have been a sufficient warning
 But we feign ignorance
We knew the whole damn time
We just wandered until the road ran out
All the while making joyous sounds
 Depicting our terrible situation
We can just roll down a hill
 To forget everything we hate
But it doesn't work like it used to
 We remember it all
Every diamond we tried to retrieve from
 the fireplace
Only to be burned by the coals
Every rotten tooth we tried to pull
 Only to break our jaws

One voice is dubbed over another
 And another yet
 Until nothing can be deciphered
Not a word from the mass of throats
 Calling out our names
 And, tell me please,
How many more fishermen will it take
To rid ourselves of this horrid stench
Yes, I know, 'tis a stupid inquiry
For it is nearly impossible this time of year

Maybe in a month or so we can leave
 this place
 Make a great escape
 But when the time comes
We just sit in the back seat
 No idea where to go
