He’s like a fire,
I try to stay away,
His light draws me in,
Makes me forget the pain.
He’s like a fire,
I’m afraid to get too near,
Don’t want to be burned,
Can’t take anymore tears.
If I’m not beside him,
I forget being warm,
As the cold surrounds me,
I yearn to love him more.
He’s like a fire,
He captivates my gaze,
My heart is paper,
His love has set ablaze.
