Raven skies
after vespers.

Twin fragments of night
yoked by star’s fiber.

Semblances hide,
shying with pale blush.

The wolves’ muse,
a loyal companion.

Nighttime lust fears
daylight affairs.

Apollo’s incandescence
severs clasped hands.

Dew forms on
armored fidelity.

Opal skies
before lauds.

Waxing until
the small hours return.
