Why when I’m glum must I look up?
The vast blue sky provides no answers

Yet here I lay
Looking up anyway
Into the clear endless sky
Wondering

What is up there?
One day, will I glance up
and seek faith as others do,
find my clear eternal light,
my guiding pathway towards happiness?

Suddenly, will hope be discovered
When I look up?
Will I find a true meaning or purpose?
Will I find what I’m looking for?

Or
Will it remain the vast, blue,
clear, endless sky
forever

I lay here looking up
Shouldn’t I be looking forward in life?
Why do I look up?
