I’d like to say
what’s on my mind.
It eats at my core,
as I choke on my breath.
But if I speak
the words will vanish.
Society’s deaf ear
will shut me out.
I feel my body crumbling.
Putty in the worlds hands.
My spirit is screaming
LISTEN TO ME!
Still I am strong.
I may go down,
but I’ll never go out.
I will not be broken.
