Children
child one struggles,
while child two cries
no one sees her though because child one is only in the parents eyes.
child one screws up,
child two attempts to repeat,
no one notices child two’s defeat.
child one rebels,
while child two is in hell,
they try to make a saint instead of saving.
child one is skinny,
that’s child two’s dream,
her parents can’t hear her helpless screams.
child one is normal,
child two is not,
all her thoughts in a big messed up knot.
child one lives life day by day not caring at what the world has to say.
child two thinks, she does that a lot, when will the day come that she gets caught.
she lives in a lie, that no one ever sees, it tends to bring her to her knees.
