She is Only But Stone
Her eyes how they gaze at me
With merriment they glow
Sweet smelling breath escapes as she whispers
How she lays there with locks of golden rays
Her touch melts me
My senses ignite reality
And suddenly her picturesque figure begins to weaken
Her eyes obtain a drained look
Her heart has retired from beating
And her soul is now perched on clouds
But I refuse to believe
Alas I mustn’t forget
She is only but stone
