Do You See Me?
When you look at me do you see me do you see who I am or do you see all of the things you wish I wasn't? When you look me in the eye do you see your past mistakes or do you see a bright future? either way you expect too much of me the way I am is not up for debate the things I do are not up for your inspection and the things I say do not need your approval. My future has come I am not your little Pocahontas any more I have hopes and dreams that you tell me are not realistic I have things that need to be done that you say are irrelevant. After all that I have been though after all that I have seen you still think me incompetent. but just think if I were to be just like the way you wanted me to be I would have nothing to do with my family because money and power corrupt and to have that there is nothing I would give
