Tiger
Observing his surroundings lazily
Under the shade of the fir tree
Out of the blue
He pounces

He and his tiger friend tumble
Roll,
Down the hill of life
Hitting obstacles along the way
Deeper and deeper into the hole of dispair

The tiger hesitates
Thinking of turning back
Yet his friend pulls him in
Chasing him into the street
Getting hit with the cars of authority

The zoologist watches them
Her self-control ebbing
Only slightly holding back from stopping them
Not wanting the innocent tiger to be pulled
Into the trouble
That could land him far away
Far away from the zoologist
Leaving her alone in the jungle
Without a job
Without a tiger to watch
Without a tiger the love
